Gregory G. Chakar
President/Founder
Greg was inspired to start Arborvine Landscaping at a young age, when he saw one of the largest landscaping companies in Delaware do some work next door to his home for a few days. That summer, Greg decided to walk around his neighborhood with a push mower and began knocking on doors to mow lawns. Greg then formed Arborvine Landscaping which has grown into Delaware’s most sought-after landscaping firm. Greg takes great pride in delivering exceptional customer service and the finest craftsmanship for every client. Greg strives to make sure every experience a customer has with Arborvine Landscaping exceeds their expectations and is something they will never forget.
Greg is honored to be able to serve the people in our community and he ensures he creates lasting relationships with every customer and their families. Oftentimes, Greg can be found spending time with his staff members after work or gaining knowledge and experience to better his company and team members. In his free time, Greg enjoys spending time with his family and friends, watching the Phillies, and exercising.
Glenn Wilkerson CLT, CPH
Landscape Design Consultant
Glenn realized while studying computer programming in school that he preferred to work outside. In 1995 he abandoned the confines of four walls and chose to direct his creative energies to the landscape construction industry. Glenn spent his career in all facets of the landscape construction industry which provided him the practical knowledge and experience of what goes into the designs he created.
He is dedicated to delivering high-quality projects that exceed his customers’ expectations. With almost 25 years of experience, he is a true asset to Arborvine landscaping.
“I have a passion for creating outdoor spaces and one of my favorite things is seeing my clients use the spaces we create.”
He is a father to four boys ranging in ages from 25 to 14 years old! And soon to Grandfather! When he is not working, you will find him on the golf course or at the gym. He also enjoys watching rugby, baseball, and lacrosse. Glenn is highly qualified and has the following certifications/achievements:
Certified Landscape Technician (CLT) from the National Association of Landscape Professionals, Certified Professional Horticulturist (CPH), The National Concrete Masonry Association (NCMA) as well as receiving his Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI) certification.
Erica L. Jones
Production Coordinator & Office Manager
Erica comes to Arborvine with four years experience in the landscape and tree industry. She decided to make a change in careers after being in a retail management position for ten years. Erica graduated with her Bachelors in Marketing and Management from Goldey-Beacom College.
Erica has been with her husband for the last eighteen years and has two sons. In her free time she enjoys watching her son’s play sports, especially soccer. As a family they enjoy being at the beach, traveling when we can, and enjoying Phillies and Union games.
Erica is responsible for scheduling of projects, coordinating materials and equipment for projects. Erica also handles administrative tasks and all marketing efforts for the company.
